Buffer drives used in the Reflex "Storatherm" model range operate on the principle of a layered drive. In other words, they work as a thermal battery, which temporarily hydraulically separates the production and consumption of heat. This is an indispensable condition for the efficient provision of secondary heat energy, solar power systems, thermal power plants and other heat generators, the heat generation of which is not directly related to demand. Storatherm buffer drives have a huge range of applications. They are mainly used to accumulate heat energy to power the heating system. Material: High quality steel with plastic outer coating Nominal volume: 200-2000 L Thermal insulation: soft polyurethane with a thickness of 90 mm with a color film lining For large Storatherm series drives (from 3000 to 5000 liters), there is additional thermal insulation.
